Suzanna Jamison, MSW, MA, LICSWA
Hello and welcome,
Starting therapy can feel overwhelming, even when something inside you knows you're ready to heal, grow, and evolve. If you're feeling that pull, you're not alone.
In this space, you’ll be met with warmth, compassion, and gentle guidance. I see my role as a supportive companion, someone who will hold space for your story, honor your vulnerability, and help you reconnect with your strength and sense of purpose.
Together, we’ll build a relationship rooted in trust and authenticity. I believe that healing happens in safe, honest connection, and that includes learning to hold yourself with the same kindness and care. I’ll support you in developing self-compassion and making peace with your past, while building tools to move forward with clarity and resilience.
I specialize in working with individuals navigating substance use, trauma, anxiety, depression, and ADHD. My approach is always trauma-informed and socially aware; I honor how systemic oppression, identity, and lived experience shape our mental health. I draw from a blend of evidence-based and holistic approaches, including CBT, mindfulness, somatic therapy, harm reduction, feminist theory, and strengths-based work.
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Work Associate in Washington State, and hold master’s degrees in both Addiction Studies and Social Work from Eastern Washington University.
Outside of therapy, I find joy in the outdoors; hiking, paddleboarding, camping, and walking my dogs. I live in Vancouver, WA and feel lucky to be so close to the coast, mountains, and city life.
If you're ready to begin or return to your healing journey, I would be honored to walk alongside you.
