Welcome. I offer trauma-informed, nervous-system centered therapy that blends evidence-based approaches with somatic, mindfulness, and relational practices. My work is warm, practical, and invitational, created to help you feel safer in your body, clearer in your choices, and more connected to your life.

Who I work with:

I primarily work with adults and adolescents who are struggling with:

  • Anxiety and chronic worry

  • Complex trauma and PTSD

  • Depression and low motivation

  • Chronic pain and health-related stress

  • Grief

  • Relationship difficulties, family conflict, and co-parenting

  • People-pleasing, boundary challenges, and codependency

  • Individuals navigating substance use disorders

I support clients who want a blend of practical skills (CBT, behavioral activation), nervous system regulation (breathwork, grounding, polyvagal-informed techniques), and somatic/emotional processing.

My approach

Therapy with me is collaborative and tailored to you. I draw from a range of modalities so we can pick what fits your needs and pace:

  • Somatic therapy & nervous system regulation: grounding, body awareness, movement, and interoception to help your nervous system move from survival to safety.

  • Mindfulness-based practices: short, accessible practices to reduce reactivity and build presence.

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT): practical tools for reshaping unhelpful thoughts and building new habits.

  • Trauma-informed care: pacing, safety, and stabilization before deeper processing.

  • Psychoeducation & skill-building: concrete strategies you can use between sessions.

  • Group work & experiential offerings: somatic dance, women's circles (Red Tent), and retreats for embodied healing and community.

I emphasize safety, consent, and choice: we move at a pace you can tolerate, and we always create a clear plan for regulation before exploring hard material.

Frequently asked questions

How long will therapy take? Change is individual, we’ll set collaborative goals and review progress regularly. Many clients notice meaningful shifts in 8–12 weeks, though some work is shorter and some is longer.

Is therapy confidential? Yes. Sessions are confidential within legal and ethical limits (e.g., risk of harm, court orders). I will review confidentiality and limits in our first meeting.

What if I’m nervous about somatic work? We always prioritize safety and regulation. Somatic practices are offered in small, gentle steps and you can opt for talk-based tools anytime.
